WRAP validation

WRAP is a combination of four abbreviations of English words. WORLDWIDE RESPONSIBLE APPAREL PRODUCTION, the Chinese translation means "Responsible global garment manufacturing". The WRAP standard was developed by the Global Apparel Production Social Responsibility Initiative to improve the human rights situation of garment manufacturers around the world.

Legal and Workplace Regulations - Garment manufacturers will comply with the requirements of the laws and regulations at any place where they operate.
Compulsory Labor - The garment manufacturer shall not employ any coercive or involuntary labor, whether it is a slave labor, contractual labor or other labor.
Child Labor - A garment manufacturer may not employ any worker below the age of 14 years prescribed by the school's compulsory education or under the law's minimum age limit.
Harassment and Abuse - Garment manufacturers will ensure that employees are protected from harassment, abuse and any form of corporal punishment in the workplace.
Remuneration - The garment manufacturer will pay a minimum wage not lower than the local law, including all welfare wages, allowances and allowances.
Working Hours - Daily working hours and working days per week must not exceed the legal requirements of the country where the garment is produced. Unless there is an urgent business need, the garment manufacturer will provide at least one day of rest every seven days.
Discrimination - The employment, pay, promotion and dismissal of an employee of a garment manufacturer will be based on the ability of the employee to work, not on the basis of personal characteristics or beliefs.
Health and Safety - Garment manufacturers will provide safe and wholesome workplaces. There are dormitories provided that shall ensure safe and healthy accommodation.
Freedom of association - The garment manufacturer will recognize and respect the right of employees to exercise the freedom of association conferred by the law, including the right to join or not to join any community.
Environment - Garment manufacturers will comply with the environmental protection laws, regulations and standards associated with their operations and will operate with good environmental awareness in all areas where they operate.
Customs Compliance - Garment manufacturers will comply with applicable customs laws. In the case of customs laws involving illicit transhipment of clothing products, a set of procedures should be in place to ensure the operation of the procedure.
Drug Ban - Garment manufacturers will work with local, national and foreign customs and drug control bureaus to combat illegal shipments of drugs.
